Loretta May Miller, affectionately known as Gigi passed away on December 4th, 2025. Born on May 10, 1957, in Elmira, NY, Lorrie made a lasting impression on all who were privileged to know her. She was a compassionate and empathetic soul who wore her heart on her sleeve. Lorrie lived in Elmira, NY before settling in Crossville, Tennessee, where she continued to serve her community. She was a woman of fortitude and resilience, a survivor and ultimate warrior, whose strength was only surpassed by her devout faith. Lorrie was a faithful believer in the Bible, and she found solace and strength in her faith. As the Bible says, “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” (Proverbs 31:25). Lorrie’s life was a testament to this verse. She leaves behind her loving mother, Carol Edwards, her cherished son, David Miller, and her wonderful brothers and sister, She was preceded in death by her father, William Rice. The memorial service for Loretta will be held on Sunday, December 7th, 2025, at the Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., located at 2653 N. Main St., Crossville, Tennessee, 38555. The visitation will start at 12:00pm CST, and the memorial service will begin at 1:00pm CST. Loretta’s memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her. She was more than a beloved mother and grandmother; she was a beacon of love and strength. Her legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched.
