Funeral services for Lori Ann Powell, age 58, of Crossville, will be at 3 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2021 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pomona Cemetery. The family will receive friends the day of the service from noon until 3 p.m. central at the funeral home.

She was born December 17, 1962 to Tunny and Merita Lowe in Crossville and passed away in her home on May 20, 2021 in Crossville. She has worked for Cumberland County for years and was elected a year ago to be our County Property Assessor. She loved the outdoors- boating and riding four wheelers and just hanging with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband: Steve Powell; son: Andrew Powell; sister: Reva Reed (Jack); and brother: Greg Lowe (Lisa) and Rodney Lowe (Jan).

She was preceded in death by her parents: Alton Tunny Lowe and Merita Elmore Lowe; brother: Jerry Wayne Lowe; and sister: Saundra Lowe Forrest.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to The Salvation Army of Cumberland County.
