Mrs. Lorine Young Tackett, age 82, of Wartburg, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, at the Standifel Place in Chattanooga, TN. She was a member of the Petros Eastern Star.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Delphia Phillips Young; brothers: Eugene, Donald, and Roy Young; sisters: Mary Helen, Charlene, and Linda.

She is survived by Steve Armes; daughter, Elaine Cox of Cohutta, GA; grandson, Marvin Cox and Leanna Campaigne of Cleveland, TN; Granddaughters: Sheila Cox, and Amanda Cash; Grandson Avery Green, great grandchildren: Chelsea Cox, Lainey Cox, Michael Campaigne, and Lyric Cox. She is also survived by Wilbert Tackett, sisters and brother Pauline, Sue and Ray.

Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews and other friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 4th, from 12-2 pm at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm., with Bro. Jeff Armes and Bro. Perry Spurling officiating. Interment will follow in the Armes Chapel Church Cemetery.
