LOUDON COUNTY DEPUTIES CATCH TWO FOR ILLEGAL DUMPING OF WASTE THANKS TO HELP FROM ALERT CITIZENS

The Loudon County Sheriff’s Department says illegal dumping onto right-of-ways and private property is a serious crime and destroys the landscape. Yesterday thanks to the help of an alert citizen, deputies caught two men who admitted to the dumping of what was likely over a thousand pounds of furniture and other household waste. These two men were not only cited for their suspected roles in this illegal activity, but were asked to collect their trash and load it back into the truck that it was dumped from. Officers did not initially release the names of the two.
