Lula Brady Melton, of Madisonville, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at her home. She was 91 years old and of the Baptist faith.

Proceeded in death by, husband, Bernard Lee Melton; daughter, Charlotte Mae Hadorn; great-grandson, Michael Eric Finley; sisters, Bernice Moser, and Mary Ann Fane; brother, Lewis Brady; mother, Juie Knox Floyd; and father, Erskin Earl Brady.

Survivors include daughter and son in law, Patsy and Billy Sloan of Madisonville; son and daughter in law, Jerry and Gwen Melton of Eatonton, Georgia; son in law Ronny Hadorn; grandchildren, Christy Elkins (Al), Amy Beck (Kelly), Jennifer Andrews (Bud), DJ Scott (Tonya), Jessie Smith (Brandon), Jimmy Melton (Aning), Jeff Hadorn (Christal), Mitch Sloan (Bethany), Courtney Simpson (Shaun); 24 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation 12-1 on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, Tn., followed by graveside service at 1:30 at Niota Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Richard Tallent.
