LULA VERNELL KERLEY age 88 of Crossville, TN passed away January 12, 2023. She was born December 26, 1924, in Crossville, TN the daughter of Amos and Gladys Seals Davis. She was an educator for more than 36 years. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy and she loved them dearly, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons- Ernest “Junior” Kerley and his wife Henrietta of Crossville, TN and William Kerley also of Crossville, brothers- Richard Davis and his wife Stephanie of Oak Ridge, TN, Gordon Davis and his wife Patti of Crossville, TN and Vaughn Davis also of Crossville, TN, sister- Joyce Wyatt and her husband Thomas of Crossville, TN, grandsons- Ernest “Trey” Kerley and his wife Amanda and Justin Kerley and his wife Hayley all of Crossville, TN and great grandchildren- Ryder Kerley, Samuel Kerley and Hannah Kerley.

In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest G. Kerley, brothers- Bill Davis and Al Davis and infant sisters- Jewel Edith and Lucille.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 17, 2023, at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11am-1pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Big Lick Cemetery.
