Lyle M. Kuehn, 91

Lyle M. Kuehn age 91 of Dayton, Tennessee, formerly of Spring City died Tuesday October 7, 2025 at The Veranda at the Life Care of Rhea County.
He was born on July 22, 1934 in Sitka, Alaska to the late Frank W. and Olga McNulty Kuehn. Lyle graduated from Sitka High School “Class of 1952”, he served his country in the U.S. Army. Lyle was a lifetime member of the Pioneers of Alaska, Loyal Order of Moose and the Elks Club. He was the assistant chief of the Sitka Fire Dept., head of the Babe Ruth’s Umpire Association and baseball coach for the Sportsman Little League Baseball Team. Lyle had been a foreman at the Sitka Public Works Dept. and worked for Alaska Lumber and Pulp Co. He retired from TVA Watts Bar. Lyle participated in the SCAN Program in Rhea County for many years.
Lyle was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Lotus June Kuehn, his sisters Donna McKinney, Karen Johnson and Dorothy Kuehn and his great grandson Brandon Lee Godsey.
Survivors include his children Dotsy Woodall of Evensville and Gary (Lynn) Kuehn of Ooltewah, his grandchildren Jamie (Jason) Lynn, Gregory Kuehn, Nicholas (Ashley) Kuehn, Christopher (Katie) Kuehn and Meredith (Logan) Newberry and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 3pm in the Spring City Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation.
