Rhea County authorities say a mail carrier has been arrested for driving under the influence. The report states 35-year-old Melissa Chance of Dayton was pulled over on State Highway 60. Officials say they allegedly found in her possession numerous opened packages containing prescription drugs and other items sent through the U.S. Postal Service. Chance was charged with DUI, simple possession of drugs with intent to sell, theft of property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
