Makenzie Leigh Cofer, 16

Makenzie Leigh Cofer, age 16, of Harriman passed away Monday, February 24, 2025, at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville. Makenzie was a sweet girl. Her smile was contagious. Her red rosey cheeks just glowed when she smiled. Her bright blue eyes were breathtaking. She loved hanging out with friends and being on her phone. Makenzie loved going on vacation, the beach was her favorite place. She was a member of Emory Gap Independent Church of God.

 

Makenzie leaves to cherish her memory, her mom: Cathy Cofer.

Sisters: Hannah Roberts, Misty Presswood, and April Bertram.

Her nieces: Asia Bazel, Maleah Moore, and Dasha Roberts.

Her nephews: CJ Auburn, Braxton, and Isaiah Bertram.

Great nephews: River Ausburn, Se’kari Porter, and Zhymeir Burum.

Special aunts and uncles: Tina Roach and Joey Presswood, Janice & Steve Mullins.

Along with a host of cousins, close friends, and relatives who will miss her dearly.

 

 

The family will receive friends Friday February 28, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Bro. George Miles and Bro. James Pressley officiating. Interment will follow in Willard Park Cemetery.
