Mrs. “Mama” Alice Baker, age 76, a resident of Harriman, Tennessee passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the River Grove Nursing Facility in Loudon, Tennessee. She was born October 23, 1948, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Mrs. Baker was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Rockwood, Tennessee. She loved watching T.V., loved babies, and loved all her family. She always enjoyed going to Shoney’s and Mimi’s. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold & Eloise Lee; loving husband, Archie Baker; sisters and brothers, Kathy Lee, Donna Kay Lee Walden, Joybelle Lee, Jeff Lee, Melissa Yoker, and Rickey Lee; and best friend, Jeanie Thomas.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 18, 2024, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee with Pastor Daryn Griffis officiating. The family request that rather than sending flowers, attendees and those wishing to so something to bring a pink and a red balloon with an attached message to release at the cemetery at the conclusion of the services.
