MARGARET ANN BEATY age 89 of Crossville, TN passed away May 25, 2024. She was born May 12, 1935, in the Dripping Springs Community in Crossville, TN, the daughter of Fred and Helen Brown Thompson. She was a longtime member of Crossville Main St. Church of Christ.

She is survived by her sons- Paul Webb and his wife Pat, Mike Beaty and his wife Karen and David Beaty and his wife Debbie, grandchildren- Austin Webb (Devin), Jason Webb (Amanda), Adam Webb, Paige Beaty, Courtney Jones (Clint), Austin White (Kaitlyn), Alex White, Bailey White, Justin Beaty (Melanie), Jake Beaty (Stacy), Jenna Beaty and  Jacie Davis (Ryan), fifteen great grandchildren, sister- Elizabeth Chaffin, sister-in-law- Beverly Williams, brother-in-law- Joe Beaty and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband- Jerry M. Beaty, first husband Richard Webb who passed in September 1956, sisters- Louise Thompson, Jean Higgenbotham, Charlene Bussell, Helen Barnes and Maddie Debene, brothers- Edgar Thompson, Joe Thompson and Fred Thompson Jr.

Funeral services will be held Thursday May 30, 2024, at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11am-1pm prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will be in Beaty Cemetery in Fentress County. The family has respectfully asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, East TN Children’s Hospital of Alzheimer’s of TN.
