Margie Sue (Griffis) Tapp, age 69, of Harriman, passed away April 11, 2020. She is survived by her husband of 52 years: Dee Tapp; children: Baron (Cheryl) Tapp, Tonya (Chad) McCarroll, Justin Tapp, all of Harriman, and Travis (Jill) Tapp of Oakdale; siblings: Pearle Golden of Bowling Greene, Kentucky, Mildred Robinson, Dorothy Patterson, Johnny (Darlene) Griffis, Scotty Griffis all of Harriman, Sally Neely of Kingston, Bo Griffis and Lynn (Brenda) Griffis of Rockwood; brothers-in-law: Jerry (Becky) Tapp, David (Jan) Tapp, both of Harriman, and Shawn (Lisa) Tapp of Knoxville; grandchildren: Michael L. and Zach L. Tapp of Nashville, Caine McCarroll of Virginia, Autumn McCarroll of New Mexico, Holden and Jake Woods of Harriman, and Tanner and Tucker Tapp of Oakdale; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and loved ones. Given current national health conditions and the family’s concern for the health and well-being of others, the family will meet at Willard Park Cemetery Friday April 17, 2020 for graveside services.
