Marguerite H. Money, 100
Marguerite H. Money, age 100, passed peacefully on April 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, devotion, and quiet service to others. Born on May 30, 1925, she was a child of the Great Depression, a generation marked by resilience, humility, and enduring strength—qualities that shaped her entire life.
A lifelong and active member of First Baptist Church Kingston, Marguerite’s faith was the cornerstone of who she was. She faithfully taught Sunday School for many years, guiding and nurturing generations with patience, wisdom, and love. She was also deeply involved in the Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU), serving with a servant’s heart and a steadfast commitment to ministry and outreach.
Marguerite dedicated 22 years of service to the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service, where she worked closely with Roane County farmers. Her work reflected her respect for the land and the people who depend on it, and she carried out her duties with diligence and care.
Her life extended well beyond her work and church. Marguerite was a pillar in her community—volunteering in local elections, supporting food and clothing drives, and always stepping forward wherever there was a need. She believed deeply in caring for others and lived that belief every day.
At the heart of her life was her beloved husband, Jack Money, her childhood sweetheart and partner of 68 years. Together, they built a life grounded in love, faith, and family—a bond that remained steadfast through the decades.
Marguerite was a devoted mother to four children, a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren, and a cherished great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured into them a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love.
Those who knew Marguerite will remember her gentle spirit, her steady faith, and the quiet way she made the world better simply by being in it. Her life was a testament to service, love, and enduring grace.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
Graveside service will be held at a later date. Fraker Funeral Home of Kingston in charge of all the arrangements.
