MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY…THE POLITICIAN?
Could Matthew McConaughey have his eyes set on a political office in the near future? And no, he isn’t studying a Hollywood script to PLAY a politician, he’s actually pondering his options on making a run for office.
McConaughey told New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, “I’m on a learning tour and have been for probably the last six years. Do I have the instincts and intellect that it would be a good fit for me and I would be a good for it. You know, would I be useful?”
The actor, best known for his roles in the movies “Dazed and Confused”, “Interstellar” and “A Time To Kill” made his remarks last Friday at the National Governors Association meeting being held in Salt Lake City Utah. The actor did not divulge on which political party he would align himself with. The nation’s governors also met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday.
