Melanie Collins Henry, age 60, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Roane Medical Center. Melanie was born in Ogbomosho, Nigeria as Glenn Collins was career Army. She was a member of Morrison Hill Christian Church and achieved a master’s degree in education. Teaching elementary in both Florida and Tennessee.

Preceded in death by her dad, Haskell Glenn Collins.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2025 at Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston. Funeral at 7:00 p.m. with Minister Danny Nunn officiating. Burial 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Kingston Memorial Gardens with Minister John Pryor officiating. Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston is serving the Henry Family.
