Celebration of Life Services for Melinda Walker, age 73, of Crawford, Tennessee, will be conducted on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home.

Rev. Merle Harris will officiate.

Mrs. Walker was born on Wednesday, June 13, 1951, in Dade City, Florida, to Myrl F. Nelson, now deceased, and Margaret O’Steen Nelson, who resides in Dade City, Florida.

Mrs. Walker passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Uplands Village Facility.

Mrs. Walker was a deputy sheriff for 20 plus years working with Hillsborough County Florida Sheriff’s Office. She was a devoted and wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were an important part of her life that she adored. She loved her kitty babies, her little dog, and gardening. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Florida.
