MEMPHIS DEFEATS TENNESSEE BREAKING VOLS 31 GAME HOME WINNING STREAK

A 3-point shot by Damion Baugh with inside of two minutes left in the game put 13th ranked Memphis ahead as the Tigers went on to defeat 19th ranked Tennessee 51-47 yesterday. The win by Memphis broke the Volunteers’ 31-game home winning streak. Tennessee had owned the longest active home winning streak of any Division I team. The Vols hadn’t lost at home since falling to Auburn 94-84 on January 2, 2018.
