Michael Gene “Mike” Wolfe, age 60, a resident of Athens, Tennessee, formerly of Grandview, Tennessee (“his old stomping ground”) passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, Tennessee. He was born August 4, 1964, in Grandview, Tennessee. Mike retired from La-Z-Boy in Dayton, Tennessee inf 2001 and after retirement, became a logger with his Dad for several years. He was of the Church of God faith, loved God, and enjoyed reading the Bible. He liked fishing, doing word search puzzles, and was an avid “Wheel of Fortune” fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Gene Wolfe & Roxie Louise Evans Wolfe; sister, Lydia Evelyn Wolfe Beltran; grandparents, Lester Evans & Vina Evelyn Evans, and Stanley & Yvonne Wolfe; and several aunts and uncles.

Austin Blake Wolfe

Lydia Evelyn Wolfe Mullinax (Dustin)

Grandchildren: Anthem Blake Mullinax, Holton Ray Mullinax, Isla Roxelle Mullinax, Millie Gene Mullinax, and Gracie Mae Wolfe

Mother of His Children: Connie Frances Wolfe

Special Friends: Shawn Meeks (Charity)

And several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Pastor Lawrence Waller officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in the Mt. Sulphur Cemetery in Grandview, Tennessee. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is honored to serve the family of Michael Gene “Mike” Wolfe.
