Michael Thomas Bennett, born April 19, 1950 in Belington, WV went to his eternal home on April 7, 2025 at the age of 74. He was surrounded by his family, who loved him dearly, in his home in Crossville, TN. Michael was a Vietnam veteran who served his country with honor and integrity. He was a proud ultra-lite pilot, who enjoyed outdoor activities, and sharing his love of music. His journey on this earth was marked by his strength and commitment to family. His passing has left a void in the hearts and minds of his family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by him. Michael’s memory lives on through his devoted wife of 48 years, Deborah Sue Bennett, six children, Teressa Lee, and her fiancé, Jason Rogers, Bobby Coffman and his wife, Jamie, Michaela Bryant and her husband, Joel, Melissa Phillips, Michael J Bennett and his wife, Heather, and Sarah Bennett Turner. He also leaves behind 14 cherished grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a beloved sister, Patricia Keplinger and her husband, Moe, and a host of other adored family members. Michael was predeceased by his mother, Jackie Maxwell, father Herbert Bennett, and sister Robin McConnaha. A military honored graveside service was held at the family cemetery in Monroe, TN, with Joel Bryant officiating.
