Mrs. Michelle Lynn Mosier Bishop, age 50, of Jasper, GA on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at her home. She was born on July 3, 1975 to Edward Mosier and Donna Barber Mosier in Allegany, NY. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family as much as we could. Michelle worked at Pizza Station in Rockwood, TN for several years until they closed. She fought a long and hard battle with cancer for about 10 years but she always had a smile on her face and color in her hair to keep her spirit happy. She is survived by:

Husband: Ronald Bishop

Siblings: Ed Mosier, Tammy Rose Fox, and Katie Yancer

Children: Fredrick Poffenberger III, Katherine Poffenberger, and Dezarae Webb

Grandchild: Emmett Zyon Moore

Step Child: Ronald Warren Bishop, Jr.

The family will receive friends in the chapel of Evans Mortuary on Sunday, March 1, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with service starting at 7:00 pm with Irvin Taylor officiating. Interment will take place on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 12:00 pm at New Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Evans Mortuary for the services.
