The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department announced today the temporary suspension of inmate visitation at the jail because of rising number of COVID-19 cases involving prisoners and staff. Officials are working closely with the Tennessee Department of Corrections, the district attorney’s office, judges and surrounding agencies to separate and secure those who tested positive. This will help process and house individuals arrested during this time.
