The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department is asking citizens to do their part to help keep the county litter free. Last week the sheriff’s office with the Wartburg Police Department had several inmate working crews out, and in only 2 days picked up over 400 bags of garbage on the sides of the roads. Law enforcement will begin writing citations to individuals proven to be responsible for littering.
