BREAKING NEWS – The Knoxville Police Department has confirmed multiple gunshot victims including an police officer following a shooting at Austin-East High School about 30 minutes ago. A reunification site has been established for families at the baseball field behind the school near Wilson and South Hembree. The school building has been secured and students who were not involved in the incident have been released to their families. The investigation remains active at this time and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office says there is now no present active shooter threat.
