Loudon County authorities released the names of those involved in a stabbing this past Saturday.

Deputies responded to the 1600 block of Old Highway 95, where Cody Graves was stabbed.

Graves was taken to UT Medical Center for treatment of multiple stab wounds.

The suspect, Davis Lee Ellis of Oneida, fled the scene prior to authorities arriving.

They found Ellis on a bridge near mile marker 80 on Interstate 75 threatening to jump. Officers took Ellis into custody after negotiating with him for 30 minutes to surrender.

Ellis has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated domestic assault.
