The Nashville Predators clinched the 4^th spot in the upcoming NHL playoffs last night by defeating the Carolina Hurricanes 3-1. The Preds will play Carolina in the first round of the playoffs. The Predators and Hurricanes will also meet again tomorrow night (Monday, May 10, 2021) in Nashville as they close out their regular season. The Predators have 14 playoff appearances since 2004.
