NURSE ADMITS TO MAILING FECES, USED SANITARY PRODUCT TO HUSBAND’S EX-WIFE

A Tennessee nurse is facing federal charges for reportedly mailing packages to her husband’s ex-wife containing inappropriate contents.

Authorities say 37-year-old Della Marie Gibson Lathum of Loudon County violated postal service rules for mailing two packages back in April. She allegedly admitted to mailing a package containing feces and a letter containing a blood-stained feminine pad. She also stated the blood came from a patient of the hospital she worked at.

Hospital officials fired her after she was taken into custody.
