The Tennessee Highway Patrol says one was killed in a vehicle accident yesterday in Anderson County. The report indicates 67-year-old Stanley Buckner of Knoxville was traveling north on Norris Freeway when he clipped the back of another vehicle. The impact sent Buckner’s automobile head-on into an oncoming Buick Encore. Buckner died and the driver of the Buick, 67-year-old Vickie Hooks, was injured in the crash.
