A woman sustained severe injuries last night in a large house fire in West Knox County. Crews were called to the home along Suburban Road. Flames could be seen rising from the back of the house. The female went back into the home to save the family dog. Firefighters got her out and she was taken to U.T. Medical Center. The home was a total loss and a cause of the fire is under investigation.
