PADILLA INDICTED BY FEDERAL GRAND JURY FOR HIS ROLE IN CAPITOL RIOT
A federal grand jury has indicted an individual from Bradley County, Tennessee for his role in the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. Court documents show Joseph Lino Padilla faces 12 charges including assaulting officers using a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct and physical violence on Capitol grounds. He is accused of throwing a flagpole at Capitol police then bragging about his actions on Facebook. Federal officers arrested Padilla outside of his apartment. He is now in custody in Washington D.C.
