Patricia “Patty” Civileen Vaughn, age 43 of Sweetwater, TN, and formerly of Rhea County, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. She was born on January 22, 1979, in Rhea County.

Patty lived in Rhea County all of her life until her recent move to Sweetwater and was employed at Denso in Athens. She loved gardening and working in flower beds, rescuing animals, and do-it-yourself projects.

She is survived by her four children, Kendall (Leo) Hernandez of Rhea County, Haley (Brett Bowling) Vaughn of Ringgold, GA, Tyler Bustos of Dayton, and Travis (Gracie) Bustos of Evensville; her father, Johnny Vaughn of Dayton; her mother, Patricia (Clausius) Schwissinger of Wisconsin; her sister, Jennifer (Mark) Hinely of Evensville; her two brothers, Owen (Logan Russell) Vaughn of Dayton, and Johnny (James Martin) Vaughn of Cleveland; and her three grandchildren, Bryson Bowling, Sofia Hernandez, and Jaxon Hernandez.

Funeral services for Patty were held on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Fields officiating.
