Pat Purdy, 71, of Sweetwater went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2022. She was born on March 29, 1951, to her late parents Frank and Christine Presley. Pat was married to her late husband Landon Purdy for 32 years. She was a loving and kind woman who had the sweetest soul and loved life to the fullest. Pat had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to watch TV, especially Andy Griffith and Mama’s Family. When she wasn’t watching her favorite shows, she loved to spend time with her family and her grandchildren. They would describe her as the best mother, sister, and grandmother ever! She also thoroughly enjoyed her weekly sister lunches and their annual sister trips.
Pat is predeceased by her loving husband, Landon; her parents Frank and Christine Presley; sister, Carolyn Purdy; brother in law, Ronnie Purdy; and brothers Allen Presley and Joe Presley. She is survived by her son, Brian Purdy (Mandy); stepsons, Alan Purdy and Mark Purdy; brother, Donnie Presley (Diane); sisters, Sandy Robbins (Don), Lisa McClung (Mark), Tammy Saffles (Chipper); sisters in law, Pat Presley and June Presley; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her special friend Kathy Clayborn.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday April 12, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater. A funeral service officiated by Rev. Larry Arwood will follow at 7 Pm. The burial will take place on Wednesday April 13, 2022 at 10 am at Westview Cemetery.
