Mr. Tudor was a retired machinist working with Duriron/Flowserve with 42 years of service, being the second person hired in the first group of people to be hired and trained as machinist in 1978. Upon retirement, Paul and Elizabeth enjoyed spending time together taking many trips to the beach, random lunch trips, spending time sitting outside on the deck, in the pool or hot tub, or just being home watching Gunsmoke and Hallmark movies. He was a graduate of Monterey High School class of 1971 where he was a member of the first golf team and was an accomplished football player. He later enjoyed coaching softball and managed a basketball team. He enjoyed genealogy, woodworking, yard work, gardening, model trains, geocaching, hunting, fishing, and had a gift for cooking including the best fried chicken and chicken and dumplings. He was loyal, considered a jokester always laughing and smiling, and was a very popular man at work or wherever he was. He was a Christian, loved the Lord, and led people to Christ. He is survived by the love of his life for over 51 years, Elizabeth Bilbrey Tudor of Monterey, TN. Together they had 2 children, Nicholas Tudor and Paula Tudor both of Monterey, TN. Paul was a true example of a family man and loved his family fiercely. He supported his kids in sports, never missing a game or practice even many times after working 12 plus hour shifts. He was always willing to spontaneously go on a road trip whether it was for a football game, visit out of state battlefields, travel to New York, Hollywood, and Philadelphia where he sat in a 4-inch snow to watch a Army Navy game. He was a steadfast support to his mom, dad, and sister, Patti and her husband, Michael Looper of Monterey, TN. He is also survived by, “brother”, Ronald (Carolyn) Bilbrey of Cookeville, TN; sisters-in-law, Shirley Bilbrey of Monterey, TN, Janet Bilbrey of Monterey, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
