Peggy Joyce Curvin, age 86 of Graysville, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Sweetwater Hospital. She was born on May 31, 1938, in Chattanooga, the daughter of the late Samuel and Gertie (Shipley) Massengill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Charles “J. C.” Curvin and her daughter, Jackie Sue Keel.

Peggy lived in Graysville since 1975, because of her father being in the military her family traveled frequently during her younger years. Her biggest passion was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her two sons, Lewis (Loren) White of Graysville, and John (Linda) Hughes of Cartersville, GA; her two daughters, Ruby (Steve) Hobbs of Seneca, SC, and Mary (Michael) Bolin of Crossville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
