PEGGY JUNE CLARK, AGE 75

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Peggy June Clark, age 75, who departed from this world on April 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
Born on March 11, 1949, Peggy June Clark was always smiling and laughing. Her unconditional love knew no bounds, and her selflessness touched the lives of many. She had a passion for life that was infectious. Whether she was spending time with her family or playing the slots in Cherokee her joyful spirit lit up the room and brought smiles to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Above all, Peggy will be remembered for the love she showered upon her children, grandchildren, and all those she held dear. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her love.
Peggy is survived by her children: Richard Allen Clark, II (Sharon) and Candy Clark Hurley, and the love of her life, Richard Allen Clark. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Casey Jade Beatty and husband, Heath Beatty, Addison Blair Clark and two step grandchildren, Loren McKenzie Reynolds and Dallas T. Reynolds, IV. She was one of six children of Dick Schubert and wife, Lucille Schubert who both predeceased her passing. She was survived by her sister, Betty Julian. She was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, Brandon Julian and wife, Jennifer Julian, Jay Julian, Katrina McCarter and husband, Tim McCarter, Scotty Doughty and wife, Sheila Doughty, Jeff Doughty, Tonya Neeley, Sonya Shillings and husband, Jason Shillings, Eddie Russell and wife, Tracy Russell and Don Patterson and wife, Amy Patterson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick & Lucille Schubert and siblings, Thelma Hickey, Nancy Doughty, Eddie Schubert and Donald Schubert. She was preceded in death by nieces, Robin Hickey, Bridgett Hickey and Tamara Sargent.
A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Fraker Funeral Home in Kingston, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity or to Thompson Cancer Survival Center Foundation in Peggy’s honor.
Though Peggy June Clark may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will forever live on, shining brightly in the lives of all who were touched by her love.
Rest in peace, dear Peggy. You will be deeply missed, but your memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.
