Phyllis M. Langley, age 69 of Oakdale, TN passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, after a battle with Alzheimer’s.

Phyllis was a faithful member of Piney Baptist Church in Oakdale for many years. She was employed by Harriman Utility Board for 32 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed her work and the friendships she developed with co-workers.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her father, Charles Moore, father and mother in law, Randall and Martha Langley, sisters in law, Susie Langley and Crystal Ray.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Randy Langley; daughter, Amanda Langley-Burkhart and grandson, Connor Burkhart. Other surviving family members include her mother, Nancy Moore; brothers, Larry Moore and family; Curtis Moore (Debbie) and family; sisters, Darlene Ray (Larry) and family; Trish Pannell (Bob) and family; sister in law Ginger Francis (Lynn) and family and the family of deceased sister in law, Crystal Ray.

Phyllis will always be remembered as a kind, loving and forgiving person. Her appreciation of and love for all of her family and friends was evident throughout her life.

We are so thankful and blessed that we got to spend as much time as we could with Phyllis. We love her dearly and she will forever be in our hearts.

There will be a private service followed by burial at Piney Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Covenant Health Homecare and Hospice 3001 Lake Brook Boulevard, Suite 101 Knoxville, Tennessee 37909. Kyker Funeral Home of Harriman is serving the Langley Family.
