A small plane crashed yesterday in a wooded area in northwest Alabama, claiming the life of 69-year-old Jerel Zarestky of Oak Ridge. Officials say the aircraft traveled from Dallas to Knoxville. Crews used a signal device to locate the cellphone of Zarestky, who was the only person aboard. An exact cause of the crash is under investigation.
