Corbin, Kentucky authorities arrested 73-year-old Ronnie Lou Helton after he allegedly attempted to buy a three-year-old child. The incident started when Helton parked his vehicle across the street from a residence, got out and walked over to a boy to help him over a fence. The grandmother of the child went to Helton to confront him and that is when officers say he offered $1,000 for the minor. Helton was arrested and taken to the Whitley County Jail for promoting human trafficking.
