POLICE: TENNESSEE TEEN MISSING FOR TWO YEARS FOUND SAFE IN ALABAMA

A teenager female from Tennessee missing since 2019 was found safe very early this morning. Police in Samson, Alabama (extreme southern part of Alabama close to the Florida line) pulled over a motorist for a traffic violation.

A check revealed the driver was 18-year-old Daphne Westbrook, missing from Hamilton County (Chattanooga). She was in the vehicle alone along with her dog reportedly heading to the beach.

An AMBER Alert was issued earlier this year for Daphne, who was 17 at the time, after her father John Westbrook was indicted on multiple charges, including aggravated kidnapping.

The TBI issued an Endangered Child Alert under the Holly Bobo Act for Daphne on May 23 because she had since turned 18.

John Westbrook has not been located.
