Ralph R. Clawson age 85 of Spring City died Thursday April 23, 2026 at Parkridge Medical Center.

Ralph was born in Union County, Tennessee on July 31, 1940 to the late Dewey and Mary Jane Ford Clawson Sr. He attended school in Rhea County. Ralph was employed for several years at Bailey Reed Motor Company. He was of the Baptist faith.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Emily “Jo” Clawson, his siblings Ulyess Clawson, Dewey Clawson Jr., Jimmy Clawson, Robert Clawson, Charles Clawson, Izora Clawson and most recently Rhoda Clawson Collins.

Survivors include his sons Lester Clawson and Donald Clawson both of Spring City and his sister Hassie Stamely of Rockwood, Tennessee. Ralph has several nieces and nephews surviving him as well..

There will be no visitation or services. His cremains will be buried with his family at the Long Cemetery.
