Randy C. Smith, age 69, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Randy was born in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and raised in a military family. After his Dad’s retirement, he returned to his parent’s home tome of Manifest, Louisiana. He married his high school sweetheart, Linda, and resided in Manifest until his career required him to relocated. As a fiber optics engineer, he spent many years in Kentucky and Tennessee. Upon his retirement, he made his home in Jamestown, TN.

Randy had many hobbies but his passion was cooking. Affectionately nicknamed “Cajun”, he was known for his yearly crawfish boils, his Louisiana gumbo and his amazing BBQ. He never met a stranger and was a friend to many.

He is preceded in death by his:
Parents, Herbert and Lucy (Morris) Smith of Manifest, Louisiana
In-Laws, Lamar and Geraldine (White) Wyles of Harrisonburg, Louisiana

The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life to be scheduled at a later date.
