Rebecca “Beckie” Louise Walker, age 77, of Crossville, passed away in her home on January 21, 2024. She was born on April 15, 1946. Her wishes were to continue giving by donating her body to Vanderbilt for research so that others may benefit from her life.

There will be no memorial services held and her cremains will be placed in The Community Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee near those who preceded her in death; her mother: Eugenia Nelson Hicks; and her father: Elvin Roy Hicks. 

She was a retired payroll administrator with Rockwell Automation and attended Cumberland Fellowship Church.

Survivors include her daughter: Tracie Lynn Moorhead (Mike) of Cookeville and Kristie Michelle Isaacson (Travis) of Crossville; son: Bradley Thomas Maddox of Crossville; grandchildren: Cade Nelson Varney (Destiny), Klaire Morgan Varney, and Jacob Randall Roberson; and great-grandchildren: Garrett Cade Varney and Truett Lake Varney.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Randal K. Walker.
