Rebecca Grace Douglas, 77
Rebecca Grace Douglas, born on January 17, 1949, in Saginaw, MI, sadly passed away on January 30, 2026. Known affectionately as Becky, she was a beacon of light who brightened the lives of those around her with her vibrant spirit and unwavering kindness. She made her home in Crossville, Tennessee, where her heart and dedication found a place in the Hilltoppers, providing care and companionship to those in need. Her work as a caretaker left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she cared for. Rebecca’s warmth extended to her family, forming bonds of love that time could never erase. Those left to cherish her memories are her loving sisters, Patricia Kilburn of Lawrenceburg, TN and Virginia Dyer of Crossville, TN; six children, Alice Marie Austin, Kedric Allen Douglas, and Patricia Arvada Gutierrez of Crossville, TN, Lucy Renee Trejo of Monterey, TN, Donna Faye Barnes of Fort Myers, FL, and Bennie E. Douglas of Mayo, FL; proud grandmother of 11, with 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She has many nieces and nephews and a host of friends with two special friends, LeEllen Strong (niece) and soon to be daughter-in-law, Wendy Carter. Their memories of her will serve as a comforting blanket, wrapping them in moments of joy and laughter. Rebecca was predeceased by her parents, John and Ruth Agnew, who undoubtedly welcomed their beloved daughter with open arms. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Naomi Oakes and Mary Dodson; brothers, John Agnew Jr. and Danny Agnew; and grandchildren, Cassie Frantz and Victoria Douglas. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 12 to 2 with service to follow. Minister Matthew Finchum will officiate and Rebecca will be laid to rest beside her mother in Crossville City Cemetery.
