RECALL ALERT: MINIWARE TEETHING SPOONS MAY BE CHOKING HAZARD

Teething spoons sold at Amazon and other stores are recalled because of a potential risk to children. The recall notice published by the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Bonnsu is recalling its Miniware Teething Spoons. They were sold in sets of two and were also included in several meal kits. The spoons are made of food-grade silicone. The company said they were designed to be used as self-feeding training aids for babies and toddlers from 4 to 24 months old. The spoons and meal kits were sold between December 2017 and March 2020. The spoons were available in gray, aqua, peach, key lime, cotton candy, and lavender colors. “Miniware” is stamped in raised letters on the handle. Parents can receive a free replacement product by calling toll-free at 855-334-8129 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. central, Monday through Friday.
