RECALL OF INFANT IBUPROFEN SOLD AT CVS, WALMART EXPANDED

In January, Tris Pharma, Inc., of Monmouth, New Jersey, announced the voluntary recall of three lots of infant ibuprofen for potentially higher-than-listed concentrations of the active ingredient. The higher dosage could cause nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain or diarrhea. The liquid medication was sold at CVS, Walmart and Family Dollar.

So far, no issues have been reported.

Now the company is expanding that recall, by adding three additional lots, which are sold only at CVS and Walmart stores.
