REMINDER: HIGHWAY 127 WIDENING PROJECT EXPECTED TO FINISH BY LATE JUNE

TDOT expects to finish their widening project on State Route 28 / Highway 127 by June, 30th, 2025, with no delays on weekdays.

The contractor is currently performing grading activities, and paving operations are continuing, meaning lane closures and periodic traffic stopping will be necessary for the project.

However, this Wednesday marks the last day that all lane closure activity will be halted, so those wanting to take advantage should do so soon.

North Grace Hill Drive has been closed at the Highway 127 intersection, and motorists are advised to use South Grace Hill Drive as an alternative, following signs as they go. Traffic has also seen temporary alignment on Plateau Rd and permanent alignment on Potato Farm Rd.

Traffic patterns could change, so travelers should be aware and alert.
