The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office says the reward has now raised to over $50,000 for the safe return of 15-month-old Evelyn Boswell.

Evelyn was reported missing February 19, 2020, nearly two months after she was last seen by her mother.

Right now (February 23, 2020), with the help from the following people and businesses, the reward has been raised to $56,000 for the return.

Over 300 tips have been turned in since Wednesday afternoon in regards to the whereabouts and two people have been taken into custody.

When asked what date Evelyn’s mother, Megan Boswell last reported seeing her daughter, Sheriff Cassidy responded that “some of the information she has given us hasn’t been really accurate.” Instead, he said a babysitter reported last seeing the child on December 11.

In a related story, two Tennessee residents were arrested by North Carolina law enforcement Friday after authorities located the car sought in connection to the AMBER Alert for Boswell.

Angela Boswell, 42, and William McCloud, 33, were arrested and charged with possession of stolen property. Both are residents of Tennessee, but investigators are not commenting on their relationship to Evelyn.

As of Friday night, the TBI said no charges had been placed in connection to the AMBER Alert.
