Richard Allen Carmack, age 87, of Crossville, passed away on January 30, 2024. He was born April 22, 1936, in Glassboro, NJ the son of Harold and Margaret Champion Carmack.

He retired from the metal sales industry as a customer service representative and was also a longtime active member of the Crossville Train Club.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years: Lois Carmack; daughters: Diana Beach of Crossville, Brenda Bracken (Bill) of St. Augustine, Florida, Eileen Cavazos of Rockwood, and Sheri French (Harry) of Sandwich, Illinois; sister: Joan Freestone (James) of Michigan; grandchildren: Michael Beach, Amy Beach, Britni Williams, Nicole Corcoran, Erica Cavazos, Tabitha Cavazos, Richard Hines, Lea French and Laurie French’ and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery.
