Richard C. Kilponen, 87, of Crossville, TN passed away on September 3, 2022. Richard was born on August 5, 1935, in Keweenaw Bay, Michigan.

The son of the late Kalle and Sima Kilponen. He served in the U.S. Army and was of the Episcopalian faith. He worked for 32 years as a tool maker.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Donna Kilponen; three sons, Gary, Karl, and Bill; one daughter Debra Phillips; one sister Lucille Chittum; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister Lillian Thomas.
