Richard Lee Rehberg, age 80, of Fairfield Glade, TN, passed away on March 11, 2022, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born on December 24, 1941, in Chicago Heights, IL, son of the late Elmer W. Rehberg and Violet D. (Harnack) Rehberg, and was raised on the family farm in Green Garden in Monee, IL.

Richard married his wife Karen on September 8, 1960. They lived in Monee, IL, and Bourbonnais, IL until 1990. During their time in Bourbonnais, Richard managed an agricultural fertilizer plant. In 2010 they moved to Lakeland, FL, where Richard oversaw the construction and sale of a manufactured home community in Zephyrhills, FL.

He was an avid golfer and achieved 2 holes in one award. He also enjoyed fishing and was a NASCAR fan. He spent many hours a week manicuring his lawn and sitting in the backyard around the fire enjoying the sites of the mountains, forestry, and wild animals. He loved having his friends, extended family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren stopping by for a visit.  Richard was of the Protestant faith.

He is survived by his wife – Karen (Silcox) Rehberg; Children – Pamela Hull (Duane) and Jeffrey Rehberg (Tammy Welker); Grandchildren – Jamie Bonds Cailteux (Troy), Ashley Rehberg Andrew (Dan), Bradley Rehberg, Ryan Hull (Heather Halverson); Great-Grandchildren – Kate Cailteux, Pierce Cailteux, Ella Andrew, Jacob Andrew, Ruth Hull, and Delilah Hull; Sister – Betty Woffard..

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his Sisters – Linda Garwood and Barbara Elam.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 14, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at St. George Marina in Fairfield Glade.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fairfield Glade Fire Department.
