Richard Wyatt, 93, was born on May 16, 1932 and passed away on February 17, 2026 in Crossville, TN. Richard was a lifelong resident of Cumberland County, TN. He retired from General Motors and later became a farmer. He loved spending time with his friends and family, but in his spare time, he really enjoyed fox hunting. He is survived by his children, Carl Wyatt, Randy (Kim) Wyatt, Larry (Cindy) Wyatt, Myrtle (David) Davis, and Sandy Houston; sisters, Mildred Wyatt, Sharon Downs, and Shirley Walker; a basketful of grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Mae Davis Wyatt; parents, William Wyatt and Alice Hale Wyatt; siblings, Beecher Wyatt, William Wyatt Jr., Dora Watson, Lois Croft, Marie Simpson, Mabel Holt, Margaret Blaylock, and Linda Griffith. Services will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00pm, with the service to follow at 2:00pm, with Randy Maynard officiating. He will be laid to rest in Hales Chapel Cemetery immediately following the service. Pallbearers include: Josh Houston, Mike Wyatt, Roy Blaylock, Tim Davis, Ryan Davis, and Clay Davis.
